Welcome to HK eCart - Refund and Returns Policy

For all the products sold on www.hkecart.com, the following return policy is applicable subject to the certain conditions to be fulfilled for returning the product.

Returns Policy:- Product Return Policy makes it possible for buyers to return a product, if buyer  receive a damaged or defective product or if the product is significantly different from what was purchased.

For all products, the policy on the product display page, where the return policy is mentioned is applicable, apart from the general conditions of Return Policy is mentioned on www.hkecart.com

Please read all sections carefully to understand the conditions and cases under which returns will be accepted by HK eCart Pvt. Ltd.

Section A: Return Window is open for 7 days from the date of delivery subject to the conditions mentioned for return.

Section B: Return Reasons

Product purchased on HK eCart will be acceptable for returns if one of the following conditions apply:

  1. Dead on Arrival (DOA)
  2. Defective Product – Product not functioning as per the description
  3. Wrong Product Received – Product not as ordered is received
  4. Used Product – If the product is used.
  5. Physical damage – Damaged in Transit / Damaged when Received

Section C: Reasons for Not Accepting for Refund / Return

Here are the reasons for which returns are not allowed: www.hkecart.com have been committed to provide best service and replacement would be given whenever the product purchased is eligible and refund would be given when return policy conditions are met.

Product would not be accepted for the replacement or refund if the following conditions are met.

  1. Refund is not raised within the timelines prescribed as mentioned on the site.
  2. Products that have already been used or installed
  3. Product you deem no longer in need or change of mind
  4. Any consumables such as Software, Video Games (discs), Printer Cartridges Etc.
  5. Products that have been tampered with or are missing serial numbers / IMEIs as applicable.
  6. Products with brand warranty:- Buyers are requested to contact the Brand Service Centers for Warranty with Invoice.
  7. Burnt / physically damaged products because of the negligence on part of the customer.
  8. Return will not be accepted for subjective aspects like performance not as per expectation, color shade difference etc.
  9. Dents, scratches on packaging not impacting the product performance do not qualify for returns
  10. Product becomes non-returnable if primary packaging is found open before installation.
  11. Returns are not possible in cases where the seller has mentioned any return policy for a particular product. Please refer to information on product page before making a purchase.

Section D: Return Approval Process

Customer can raise a return request from My Account section of your HK eCart Account.

If you have purchased any product, you will receive a mail from our Returns Team within 2 business days of initiating a return request, to troubleshoot the issue you are facing before initiating the Refund, if applicable.

For Dead on Arrival complaint:- If the product is DOA, customer may request replacement / refund as applicable. If the refund is applicable, we would promptly refund the amount through the same bank account or Card used to make payment.

For all Damaged / Wrong product received complaints, customers are requested to provide following to investigate further:

  1. Damaged/Wrong product: Images 1) All sides of brand box 2) Image of damaged part 3) Serial number / IMEI printed on box and product both.
  2. Our Returns Team will review the documents and pick-up will be arranged if the return reason complies with our policy and is approved by our Returns Team.

Section E: Reverse Pick-Up of Product from Customer for Refund / Replacement.

We will pick-up your product with in 3-7 working days once the return is approved. When the customer address is not covered by Our Logistic Partner, the buyer is requested to return the product by self. The shipping cost would be paid to the customer, through a Coupon.

Section F: Refund Processing

  1. HK eCart take 48 hours to process the refund once the product has cleared the Quality Check after received at our warehouse. The refund amount will be credited to your bank account within 3-4 working days. In the case of certain public sector banks, it can take up to 10-15 working days
  2. If you have paid via Cash on Delivery (COD), a refund will be credited to the bank account provided by you at the time of initiation of returns
  3. If you have paid using a credit/debit card or via net banking, the refund will be credited back to the account you used to place the original order

 Section G: Refund processing in form of Other Products listed on www.hkecart.com

  1. Fortunately, we have a replacement policy with other product when the customers wish to exchange instead of taking the refund. We can replace products that you’ve already ordered through another product of same value if customer has decided to get it replaced. Instead of placing a fresh order, customer can request a replacement of another product.
  2. The difference amount if any would be paid by the customer while exchanging the product
  3. All Products should be returned unused, in their original packaging along with the original price tags, labels, packing, barcodes, user manual, warranty card and invoices, accessories, freebies and original boxes defined as essentials. If any product is returned without the essentials, the product shall not be accepted for return and shall be sent back to you.
  4. Kindly retain the packaging for 7-10 days of delivery as it may be needed just in case you need to return the product.
